Kolkata, 25 January: DIRECT selling FMCG firm, Amway has tied-up with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta for a special course focused on entrepreneurship and leadership for its high potential direct sellers.

This is the first time that Amway has tied-up with a premier management institute in India for a special course for its direct sellers. The company has shortlisted 100 such direct sellers who would undertake the course at IIM Calcutta.

Speaking on the occasion, Anshu Budhraja, general manager of Amway India said that the tie-up was focused on building skills and competencies of the company’s high potential direct sellers to enable them compete in an ever evolving entrepreneurship landscape.

Prof Ramendra Singh, programme coordinator and faculty at IIM Calcutta said that the short duration residential course at IIM Calcutta would impart lessons on building direct selling businesses through innovative thinking, training team members in latest sales skills, and ways to become a motivational leader and team builder through effective communications.
