Kolkata, 5 June: WEST Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the results of the entrance tests for admission to UG courses in engineering and pharmacy.

WBJEEB chairman Malayendu Saha announced the results at a news conference a little before. Examinees would be able to access their individual results from 4 pm  by visiting the websites ~ www.wbjeeb.in, www.wbjeeb.nic.in, and www.exametc.com.

A total of 1,17,544 students had appeared for the engineering entrance and of them 1,00,433 have come out successful.

Among the top 10 rank holders, nine are boys and there is only one girl. Interestingly, among these rank holders, majority six are from Central Board of Secondary Education schools, three are from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education schools, and one is from Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations board school.

That’s not all! Of the total successful candidates, 47 per cent are from CBSE, while 14 per cent are from CISCE board.
