Kolkata: PRESIDENT Ram Nath Kovind will be visiting Bengal on 28 November for the first time since he assumed office in July this year.
State government sources said that he will be landing in Kolkata on 28 November and fly back to Delhi on 30 November. President is coming to the state on an invitation from a business chamber of commerce in Kolkata.
Going by the protocol, the state government will accord President Kovind a civic reception on 28 November itself. The event will be at Netaji Indoor Stadium and will be attended by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor KN Tripathi.
On 29 November, President will attend the business chamber event and visit the Belur Math. He will fly back to Delhi on 30 November.
