Kolkata: Tyre manufacturing giant CEAT has announced a pan-India competition to woo start-ups offering new-age mobility solutions and plans to invest money in the winner team.
The company has named it ‘Excellerator’, wherein it will try to identify entrepreneurs who are addressing large market opportunities through connected vehicles, shared mobility services, and fleet management/logistics services. It aims to partner with upcoming start-ups in these segments.
Entry to the competition is open from 26 August – 30 September. In a statement, the company has asked interest people to send in their entry to email@example.com.
Shortlisted entrepreneurs will be invited to RPG House in Mumbai to showcase their business ideas to a jury comprising of CEAT’s senior management.
The final will be held in November and the winning start-up(s) may get a chance to raise funds from CEAT and gain access to its network across India.
