The school meant for special children of both civilians and armed force personnel is located on the Command Hospital campus and is run by the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA).
Little Sambuddha, who hailed from Silpara at Behala in the city, had drowned in a pool on the campus while participating in the school’s annual sports yesterday.
Ever after the lapse of a day, the Army authorities are yet to take any step against any staff or teacher of the school.
To press for justice for the child and the punishment of those responsible for his untimely demise, the guardians of other children held a candlelight protest in front of school premises today.
