Kolkata: The prestigious Army Institute of Management (AIM) will relocate to a new campus at Rajarhat New Town from the next academic year, the Army authorities at Fort William has announced.

The announcement came today 14 September, on the sideline of the graduation ceremony for MBA 20th batch students held at the Albert Ekka Auditorium in Fort William.

At present, AIM functions out from its campus at Alipore in south Kolkata. AIM is a NAAC accredited Institute supported by the Defence authorities and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in Kolkata.

The institute runs a two-year fulltime residential MBA programme for children of army personnel and civilians.

At the graduation ceremony today, Lt Gen Anil Chauhan, the Eastern Army Commander, was present at the chief guest. He handed over degrees to the passing out students amidst the presence of their family members and relatives.

Saikat Samanta from West Medinipur has topped the course in this batch and has also come out first in marketing. Arjeous Choudhary has come first in finance, and Abhishek Sen in is first in human resources.
