Kolkata, 14 July: ALL India United Democratic Front (AIDUF) leader Siddiqullah Chowdhury, who on Tuesday called Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Nabanna, did not rule out a tie-up with Trinamul Congress for the 2016 Bengal Assembly polls.
“All good people should work together. But there is still 10 months to go before the polls,” he said responding to queries from reporters after his hour-long meeting with Miss Banerjee.
He praised the Trinamul government saying: “A lot of work has been done for minorities but some more remains to be completed. We are happy that CM gave us an hour and has assured to look into our demands.”
