Hooghly: THREE youths from Bengal district have died while working in a chilling unit of a dairy firm in Bihar.
They have been identified as Abhimanyu Bera (34), Indrajit Jana (21), and Uday Das (32). The first two youths were residents of Tarakeswar in Hooghly district, the third one hailed from Jamalpur in East Burdwan.
Family sources said that the trio had joined the dairy firm located at Patliputra near Patna in Bihar on 24 January. Today morning, the company officials called up their families to inform that the trio has been found dead in the chilling unit of the dairy.
Their dead bodies have been kept in the morgue of Patna Medical College and Hospital after the autopsy. Sushanta Bera, the uncle of deceased Abhimanyu, said the company has not apprised them as to under what circumstances the youths have died in the chilling plant.
Family members have left for Patna today itself to bring back the dead bodies of their sons who had gone to Bihar in search of livelihood.
