Kolkata: At least two students from Bengal have found a place among the top 50 who have qualified the National Eligibility And Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges across the across India.
The Central Board of Secondary Education had conducted NEET on 6 May and the results were published online today afternoon.
Among the two students from West Bengal who have found a place among the top 50 are Ritwik Kumar Sahu and Aditya Sarogi. Sahu has ranked 13 and Sarogi 39.
Apart from them, Sounak Majumdar from the state has ranked 267 and Orchisman Mazumdar has ranked 279.
NEET was conducted for 720 marks and it had negative scoring for wrong answers. Kalpana Kumari from Bihar has stopped by scoring 691 marks. As many as 13,26,725 students had appeared for NEET this year.
